Beautiful landscape!! Amazing! *-*
i love the darkness in this, makes it a little more mysterious
thank you! do you know which group this was added to that you saw it in? a bunch of people fav'd it right around when you commented, but I can't remember which group asked to have it included and I wanted to check out the rest of the art in the group.
I can't wait to go back
Fantastic capture! Shots like these are exactly why I call the PNW home!
might have cropped a bit more off the left side but still a solid shot....it's got to be hdr, yeah? the definition in the clouds is great...wizard island the wind across the lake is excellent :]
very good !!!good shoot..
Beautiful! My Husband and I were just there, only on the other side
thank you! I tried finding a vantage point on the other side but it started pouring once I made it over there.
This is awesome!
I'll take your camera any time you feel like giving it away to charity. Also, your skillz.
love the clouds
This made my heart sink.man powerfull!.
Ive been there. I love this place.
Fantastic photo and quality!
i can see the lava:d
there are actually lava fields all over around this. took some photos, but not really happy with anything.
Beautiful! My parents used to take us kids on outings there when I was little. Then we moved. Lots of good memories associated with Crater Lake. This is a really nice capture. I love how threatening that storm looks, and the focus is so clear!
tight aperture + L lens got the focus so tight. I wish I would have grown up with it, memories like that aren't quite replicable.
Great shot! Love the gloomy look of this shot. By the way, I've been trying to figure out how to do this with the settings on the camera. I found out how to play with the settings, but I haven't been able to get a shot like this with the gloomy look. How do you do it?
storm + photoshop. most of the gloom comes from the drop in saturation and the levels on the clouds. send me a photo and I'll photoshop it with the layers in tact so you can see what I would do.
Beautiful shot! I was just up that way from California about a month ago
thank you. such a great area. I've been meaning to check out shasta more, but I haven't had a chance to do anything but drive by it.
Damn! I need to visit this place! I have been dying to get there for the past ten years. One day. Beautiful shot!
you should, I highly recommend it! are you in oregon currently, I noticed some oregon shots in your gallery?
The rough clouds give the scenery a wild appearance, I like the shades of grey. There's a cold and windy overall impression
